Constitution is base for Kazakhstan's success in XXI century- view

ASTANA, August 30 (Itar-Tass) -- Kazakhstan's President Nursultan
Nazarbayev greeted the nation on the Constitution Day as he opened the
military parade on Tuesday.
"The Constitution is a base for Kazakhstan's successful way in the XXI
century - it is creation of the nation's will," he said. "All our
successes have been achieved due to the unanimity, accord in the society,
to our firm compliance with the major values of the country's
constitution."
The parade in the main square started with the passage of the
standard-bearers of Kazakhstan's state flag.
The commander of the parade, Lieutenant-General Murat Maykeev reported
readiness of troops to the Defence Minister Adilbek Dzhaksybekov.
The parade features soldiers of the Armed Forces and combat arms -
about 2,500 servicemen, 130 arms and military equipment, as well as more
than 60 aircrafts and helicopters. The present event is specific for
showing certain units and equipment for the first time.
Kazakhstan celebrates the 12th anniversary of adoption of the
Constitution. Fireworks will be start in Astana at 20:00 Moscow time.
The country's regions will organise on Tuesday marches of working
people and students. There will be concerts and sporting events. This day
will be marked by opening of some new facilities.
