Turkmen president appoints Migration Service's new head

Turkmen President Gurbanguly Berdimuhammadov signed a decree appointing D.Bayramov (full name is not indicated in the report - author) as the chairman of the State Migration, Turkmenistan-4 national TV channel reported on Wednesday.
Earlier Bayramov served as Deputy National Security Minister. The former head of the Migration Service Ashyrgeldi Begliyev was dismissed due to his transfer to another job.
According to local media outlets, the day before at a meeting in the State Security Council Berdimuhammadov defined a number of "urgent tasks before the Migration Service arising from its duties and powers, as well as given constantly growing interest of the international community to the rapidly developing Turkmenistan, where more and more foreign citizens become guests every year".
The Migration Service ensures visa issuance to foreign citizens and stateless persons, and execution of the Turkmen citizens’ passports.
