Sea rescuers to share experience at Vladivostok conference.

VLADIVOSTOK, September 6 (Itar-Tass) -- Russia, China, Korea and Japan
will exchange experience of rescue in marine accidents. They will meet at
the conference, which opens in Vladivostok on Tuesday.
The event will feature reports from specialists involved search and
rescue operations, who will speak about search and rescue structures in
their countries, about manpower and equipment.
The conference is planned to adjust the plan for joint exercises to
save lives at sea and to fight pollution of seas with oil products.
Participants will schedule exercises in communication with coordination
centres of neighbouring countries. Experts will consider false distress
and measures to reduce them.
The Russian Federation in the Far East has bilateral agreements on
search and rescue with Japan, the U.S.A. and the DPRK. Russia and the
Republic of Korea are designing an agreement on rescuing people at sea.
The conference of marine rescuers will work in Vladivostok for three days.
