IRGC officer martyred in fight with PJAK
TEHRAN, Sept.10(MNA) – Brigadier General Abbas Ali Jannesari of the IRGC (Islamic Revolution Guards Corps ) has been martyred in skirmishes with the counter-revolutionary group PJAK.
On September 2, the Islamic Revolution Guards Corps ground division began a new round of operations against the PJAK after the end of a one-month respite given to terrorists to retreat from border areas in northwestern Iran.
The IRGC announced that it will continue its operations until the region is cleared from terrorists and counter-revolutionary elements.
