Kazan hosts 4th international seminar of TURKSOY on non-material heritage
Baku, 20 September (AzerTAc). The 4th international seminar of TURKSOY on non-material heritage has been held in the city of Kazan of Tatarstan, Russia.
The seminar brought together representatives from Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan, Turkey, Turkeminstan, Tatarstan and Bashkortostan republics of Russia, Northern Cpyris, Gagauz Yeri of Moldova, TURKSOY and UNESCO.
Azerbaijan was represented at the event by the official of the Ministry of Culture and Tourism, Yashar Huseynli.
The seminar was opened by Tatarstan`s Culture Minister Ayrat Sibagatullin who underlined the necessity of coordination of activities of TURKSOY member states on protection of non-material cultural heritage.
The event also featured presentation of the website of TURKSOY`s non-material heritage.
The participants were also informed the reforms being carried out in Azerbaijan to protect non-material cultural heritage.
