85% of PJAK members are non-Iranians: Iran`s basiji commander
TEHRAN, Sept. 21 (MNA) – Basij Commander Mohammad Reza Naqdi said more than 85 percent of the members of the counter-revolutionary group PJAK (the Party for a Free Life in Kurdistan) are non-Iranian nationals.
They are among the mercenaries who have been recruited from other countries to create insecurity in the region, Naqdi told on Tuesday.
The group’s efforts to employ new members have been stymied due to the Kurdish people’s vigilance and their loyalty to the Islamic establishment, he added.
