Book on Nagorno-Karabakh conflict comes out in Budapest

Budapest, September 26 (AzerTAc). A presentation of a Hungarian version of the book “International Law and Nagorno-Karabakh Conflict” by Azerbaijani ambassador to Moldova Namig Aliyev was held at the Embassy in Budapest on Friday.
Based on the principles of the international law, the book proves the Armenian claims on Nagorno-Karabakh are groundless.
Speaking in the event, Azerbaijani Ambassador to Hungary Vilayet Guliyev informed the readers about the history of Nagorno-Karabakh conflict and touched on current state of negotiations on settlement of the conflict.
Vice-President of the Committee on Foreign Affairs of Hungarian parliament Marton Gyongyosi highlighted existence of friendly relations between the two countries and expressed hope the conflict would be settled on the basis of international law norms.
Hungarian diplomat Endre Erdos spoke of legal aspects of Nagorno-Karabakh conflict and touched on the impact of international law on relevant problems.
Attending the event, AzerTAc`s special correspondent in Germany Vugar Seyidov briefed the participants on the Armenian myth on the history of Nagorno-Karabakh, relocation of Armenians from Iran and Turkey in 1828 and demographic changes in the region.
The presentation also was attended by Hungarian scientists, lawyers, diplomats and representatives of Azerbaijani Diaspora in the country.
Moldovan Ambassador to Hungary Alexandru Codreanu also made a presentation at the event.
