MECT signs MoU with three universities of Malaysia

Khairpur, September 29, 2011 (PPI): Mehran University College of Engineering and Technology (MECT), Khairpur signed MoU(Memorandum of Understanding) on Thursday with three universities of Malaysia - University of Malaya, University of Putra and University of Petronas, which are among the top five Universities of the country.

According to PRO of (MECT) the MoU was signed during the visit of Malaysia by the Pro vice Chancellor of Mehran University of Engineering and Technology, Jamshoro Prof. Dr Aslam Uqelli and Principal of Mehran University College of Engineering and Technology Prof. Dr Mujeeb Sahrai.

According to the agreement Mehran and the said Malaysian universities will work on the development of collaborative research projects, joint academic and scientific activities like, undergraduate courses, conferences, seminars, lectures, exchanging of research and technical personnel, placement of students and exchange of publications and other materials of common interest.
