Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia, /MONTSAME/ According to the Institute of Meteorology and Hydrology, a maximum precipitation was registered in Bayankhongor soum (39.1 mm), Bayankhongor aimag in September, 2011.
Jinst soum of Bayankhongor aimag experienced the highest air temperature (+32°C), while in Galuut soum of Bayankhongor aimag--the lowest (-18°C). Wind speed reached 18 m/sec in Tsogt soum of Govi-Altai aimag.
Daily average concentration of nitrogen dioxide exceeded 26 times around the West crossroad of Ulaanbaatar city, 25 times around the 13th micro district, 15 times around the Misheel-Expo center, 11 times around Kharkhorin market, and one time around the Palace of Officers.
Daily average concentration of sulphur dioxide exceeded 4 times around the West crossroad and 4 times around the 13th micro district, particulate matter less than 10 micrograms exceeded 26 times around the 32nd Circle and 23 times around the West crossroad, 12 times around the 13th micro district, six times around the Misheel-Expo center, and three times around Kharkhorin market.
Particulate matter less than 2.5 micrograms exceeded 10 times around the 13th micro district and one time around West crossroad from the maximum allowable concentration of air quality standard in September, 2011.
