N. Korea hails U.S. removal of it from terror blacklist
SEOUL, Oct. 12 (Yonhap) -- North Korea on Sunday welcomed a U.S. decision to take
it off a list of terror-sponsoring nations, saying Pyongyang will cooperate in
verifying the dismantlement of its nuclear facilities.
"We welcome the U.S. which has honored its commitment to delist the DPRK as a
state sponsor of terrorism," a spokesman at the North's Foreign Ministry said in
a statement carried by the (North) Korea Central News Agency.
