Dasmunsi's condition continues to remain stable

New Delhi, Oct 20 (PTI) Information and Broadcasting
Minister Priya Ranjan Dasmunsi, who is admitted in AIIMS for
the past eight days following a severe heart attack, was
Monday in a stable condition but still unconscious with no
sign of a remarkable improvement.

"His condition continues to remain the same. He is stable
but still unconscious. We are closely monitoring his
condition," D K Sharma, Medical Superintendent of AIIMS, said
Monday.

American neurologist Den Henley, who is here to examine
Dasmunsi, also had an informal discussion about the minister's
health with the multi-discipline team of doctors treating him.

"Dr Henley is a neurologist from Johns Hopkins University
and he has come to look into the case of Dasmunsi on the
recommendation of his family doctor," P P Singh, APS to the
ailing minister, said.

The 62-year old minister was admitted to AIIMS following
complete left ventricular failure on October 13.
