DAYS OF BELARUS CULTURE IN AZERBAIJAN BEGIN (W)
Baku, 22 0ctober ,(AzerTAj)A delegation of over eighty workers of culture and arts from Belarus led by the country’s Deputy Minister of Culture Vladimir Gridyushko have arrived in Baku to participate in the Days of Belarus Culture in Azerbaijan festival started here on Wednesday.
“The Days will begin with a festival of Belarus films, and be followed by
gala-concerts, art exhibitions, meetings at the Azerbaijan Ministry of Culture and
other interesting events,” Gridyushko announced at a reception in the Embassy of
Belarus in Baku.
“Expansion of cultural ties will be a good basis for development of
Azerbaijan-Belarus cooperation in tourism and trade,” said Ambassador of Belarus to
Azerbaijan Nikolay Patskevich, reminding that “the governments of the two countries
have set a task to bring the trade to $130 million.”
Days of Azerbaijani Culture in Belarus took place in May this year.
