137 divided family members cross border via L.o.C.

Jammu, Oct 28 (PTI) As many as 137 members of divided
families crossed over the Line of Control (L.o.C.) in Poonch
district of Jammu and Kashmir, official sources said Tuesday.

61 civilians crossed over to Pakistan occupied Kashmir
(P.o.K.) Monday by Poonch-Rawalakot bus service, the sources
said adding 36 among them were from the state who went to
P.o.K. to meet their relatives while 25 were P.o.K. civilians
who came to meet their family members in the state.

Another 76 civilians travelled to Poonch from P.o.K.,
they said adding 41 were P.o.K. citizens among them while 35
others returned to the state.

Rawalkot Deputy Commissioner Mehmood Zaffar and Sub-
Divisional Magistrate Hajeera Parvez Yaqub from P.o.K. side
were present at the Chakan-da-Bagh point while Assistant
Commissioner (Development) Salim Malik and Dy SP Dar Rajinder
Singh represented Poonch.
