Yemen and Germany to sign twinning agreement

SANA'A, Nov.15,(Saba)- Yemen and Germany will sign a twinning
agreement between the Central Organization for Control and Auditing
(COCA) and the Audit Court of Berlin for developing cooperation
between the two authorities.

Arriving in Sana'a Saturday along with a delegation accompanying,
the president of Audit Court of Berlin Mr.Jens Harms stated that
the agreement that will be signed during the visit aims to enhancing
the bilateral cooperation between the two countries in the control
and auditing field as well as learning from each other's
experiences and making them applicable to ground.

During the visit, Harms will attend a special workshop to be held
next Monday in Sana'a for discussing the consultative role of the
control Organizations in the corruption fighting field, Mr. Harms
said.

The workshop would be organized by the COCA in cooperation with the
German Audit Court of Berlin and will aim to benefit from the
control organizations in fighting corruption.

Mr. Harms will visit several branches of the COCA in Sana'a and
Hadramout to get knowledge about the COCA operating within the
Yemeni-German Project (GTZ) .
