Construction of social objects in Mangistau region
Aktau, 29 November 2008 (Khabar) - Residents of Shetpe village in Mangistau region celebrate the holiday. Several social objects were opened here. And long-waited gas pipeline is set in remote settlement Ushtagan. All the villagers gathered for the opening of gas pipeline Sholtobe-Ushtagan. Construction of gas pipeline the length of which is 42 km, was begun last year. Part of money was allocated by the regional budget. Four more villages will have gas pipeline soon in Mangistau region.
Krymbek Kusherbayev, governor of Mangistau region:
- The head of the state instructed to supply all settlements with gas, electricity, communication and TV broadcasting by 2010. We realize this task due to the republican budget and social projects are realized by oil and gas companies.
Municipal market was opened in Shetpe settlement this year and villagers sell their fruits and vegetables for cheaper prices. Aiman Ismambetova says the conditions of selling are good at the municipal market and price for seat is small and it means sold products will be cheaper.
Large school of arts was also opened here for rural children. It has musical, dance and painting departments. The main direction of educational programmes is studying of traditions of folk creative activity. Sport complex was built for the fans of sport. There are various sport grounds, boxing and wrestling rings here.
Mukhtar Mutallap, governor of Shetpe settlement:
- Everybody must go in for sports to be healthy. It is especially important in childhood. We create all the conditions for our children, for their growing healthy and harmonically developed.
Mukhtar Mutallap says Mangistau residents will soon receive complete package of social services independently on their living in city or in remote village.
