Delegation of Kazakhstan’s People Assembly in Israel

Tel-Aviv, 4 December 2008, (Khabar) - Kazakhstan’s People Assembly shares its experience with Israel. Jerusalem has hosted a conference devoted to Kazakhstan’s experience in the development of inter-ethnic dialogue. The event also saw a presentation of the latest book by Nursultan Nazarbayev entitled «Kazakhstan’s way» and translated into Hebrew.

Vladimir Babak, doctor of science, University of Tel Aviv:
- I have to express my deepest respect to President Nursultan Nazarbayev. Among all the former Soviet countries, he is the wisest leader. I visit many CIS countries and I have to admit his wisdom after I saw the way Kazakhstan is doing now.

The Assembly of the People of Kazakhstan came to Jerusalem as a large delegation to share their unique experience with Israel.

Tolegen Mukhamedzhanov, Senator of RK:
- We are now on sacred land now. It is the birthplace of the world’s three religions. Here, we are holding a round-table meeting devoted to the issues of inter-ethnic and inter-religious relations. It will be a historic event.

Experts from all over the world have already admitted the uniqueness of Kazakhstan’s People Assembly. Many of them had been given a presentation of the assembly’s work in Astana, the host city of the Congress of the World and Traditional Religions. Those who have not been to Kazakhstan’s capital city, are now trying to understand the historic role of the Assembly at such roaming presentations like the one held in Jerusalem. This time, the presentation also featured additional cultural and economic programmes. The Israeli cities of Ashad, Ber-Sheva and Haderi welcomed several choreographic and singing performances of music bands from Almaty and Astana while businessmen from Israel and Kazakhstan participated in a bilateral business forum.
