Results of 2008
Astana, 1 January 2008, (Khabar) - According to the tradition, adults and children recollect all the best of passing away year and think wishes ahead. Having summarized the results of 2008 we can say we had more victories than losses. Kazakhstan didn’t stopped after facing the first wave of world crisis and is advancing. Central Asia became the center of world’s attention as our republic was chosen as chairman of OSCE. And now organization hopes for changes and reforms that will be carried out by our country. Political reforms are continued in Kazakhstan, according to the initiative of head of the state laws about mass media, elections, political parties and regional self-governing are liberalized. The country managed to protect itself from losses and shakes. President Nursultan Nazarbayev noted crisis makes us to develop and grow.
Nursultan Nazarbayev, President of RK:
- The main achievement of passing away year is social condition of our citizens, which is based on political stability, friendship, tolerance and calmness. It is basis of flourishing of any state. Pensions will be increased to 25% from January 1 and salary of budget workers – to 25% and social obligations of the state before people will not change. We concluded treaties for 60 billion tenge, memorandums with all large enterprises in order they don’t discharge workers and every worker must know he will preserve his work place. It is the main.
During the recent months of year small and medium-size businesses, agriculture and construction were supported and hundreds of Kazakhstanis celebrate 2009 in new flats. Breakthrough projects are carried out in industry, energy and transport. What are the most interesting and remembered moments of 2008?
Yerbolat Shergaliyev:
- We achieved much, we won two golden medals in Beijing Olympiad and from now on we have national heroes, they are our pride and hope. This year our sportsmen gladdened us well, our hockey players and cyclists.
Names of Bakhat Sarsekbayev and Ilya Iyin, Irina Nekrasova and Teimuraz Tegiyev were written in sports history of our country in 2008. Asian Games are to be held in future and we wait for new discoveries and new awards.
Daulet Suyundikov:
- I wish everybody health, happiness, success and prosperity. I with to Astana flourishing, more guests and successful Asian Games that will take place in Astana.
The 10th jubilee of Astana also became the common holiday for the whole country. Our young capital grew and it is symbol of rapid development of Kazakhstan. The architecture of this city is a sample for all the regions and it shows future of Kazakhstan.
Roza Salkulova:
- Astana is very beautiful city and we are very proud with our capital. It has changed and developed with many kind affairs. We gladden and fell pride with our Astana. The President builds great plans about the capital and we hope all of them will be realized.
In 2008 Kazakhstani pupils took part into international research of educational quality for the first time. Their results impressed and they entered the world ten according to the level of knowledge of math’s and natural sciences.
Zhaslan Mukushev:
- We wait for many miracles in New Year and realization of our wishes. I wish to become a football player, this is my wish!
Sergey Zyuzin:
- I wish our sportsmen will win always in all Olympiads and nobody be ill. I am proud with Kazakhstan and it is good and fair country.
Roman Gninenko:
- I wish well being to everybody, I wish everybody feel well and make friendship and peace. I wish all the best and new to our people and I wish flourishing, many opportunities and much power to our country, in order it will be able to advance further.
