Sneaking through Yemeni-Saudi borders reduced, Saudi official

RIYADH, Jan. 07 (Saba) - Saudi Border Guards Chief Major General
Talal Anqawi confirmed on Wednesday that the problem of sneaking
through Yemeni-Saudi border has reduced due to security coordination
between the two countries.

In a speech published by Saudi Okaz paper on Wednesday, Anqawi
called on exerting more efforts and extensive arrangements for
assisting in controlling the borders.

He said that Yemen and Saudi Arabia have started together setting up
new machineries to observe the Yemen-Saudi border which is very
large and could not be controlled by one part".

Anqawi revealed that the Saudi Borders Guards will use modern planes
to observe land and maritime borders of the Kingdom with neighboring
countries, pointing out the modern techniques used by Borders Guards
such as cameras and watching patrols in addition to the modern
accurate plans which do not only study the behaviors of smugglers
and sneakers, but also show when and where they might sneak.
