12 more new-flu cases found in Japan, bringing total number to 432+

TOKYO, June 7 Kyodo -
Twelve people in Fukuoka and Shiga prefectures were confirmed Sunday as
infected with the new flu, bringing the total number of new-flu infections
confirmed in Japan to 432.

The Fukuoka municipal government reported that 11 people in the southwestern
city -- five junior high school students and six elementary school students --
had tested positive for the new H1N1 strain of influenza A.
Shiga Prefecture said a 30-year-old university teacher had also been confirmed
as infected with the new flu.
