S. Korea confirms additional influenza A case

SEOUL, June 8 (Yonhap) -- South Korea's health authorities said Monday that they
have confirmed an additional case of Influenza A, bringing the number of the
people infected with the contagious flu to 48.

A 28-year-old Korean man has tested positive for the H1N1 virus after he returned
from New York on Sunday, according to the Ministry for Health, Welfare and Family
Affairs. He is being quarantined at a state-designated hospital for treatment, it
added.
The ministry said that it is tracing people who might have been in contact with
the patient with efforts also underway to determine how he contracted the
disease.
