Iran builds smart robot for deep wells
A company in Semnan province's Science and Technology Park has succeeded in designing and building a smart robot for use in deep wells.
Designer of the robot, Abdolhossein Seifi said that it is semi-automatic and remote controlled. The device, whose present range is 500 meters, is capable of operating in deep and semi-deep wells.
It is capable of extracting salts from the bottom of wells, he said, noting that the set is capable of filming since the operations are visible while it is working.
The robot has been registered as an invention.
