Suspected swine flu patient arrives at SMS hospital


Jaipur, June 9 (PTI) A man suspected to be suffering from
swine flu was Tuesday admitted to an isolation ward in the
Sawai Man Singh Hospital in India's deser state Rajasthan's
capital Jaipur, official sources said.

Twenty-three year old Kamlesh Chand Tailor, who had
recently returned from Poland and was staying in his village
Sawiwad, about 100 km from here, was suffering from
respiratory disorder, cough and fever, they said.

The patient, who was referred to the hospital by
Jamwaramgarh doctors, is being kept in isolation and given all
possible treatment, they said.

His cough and throat swabs were taken and are being sent
to National Institute for Communicable Diseases in Delhi, they
said.

Early this month, another person Rajesh, who had landed
from Dubai, was admitted to hospital after showing symptoms of
flu. However, his samples were found negative by NICD. He was
