PM receives representatives of Chinese Railway Company implementing the development al-Nisour Square

Baghdad / NINA/ - Prime Minister Muhammad Shiaa Al-Sudani received, on Monday morning, representatives of the Chinese Railway Company, which is implementing al-Nisour Square development project in central Baghdad, as part of the first package of projects to relieve traffic congestion in the capital, Baghdad.

During the meeting, which was attended by a number of advisors to the Prime Minister, the Chinese company provided an explanation of its available capabilities that enable it to participate in the implementation of the recently announced Baghdad Metro project, and the expertise it has available to contribute to the implementation of this vital and important project.

The Prime Minister’s Media Office stated: “26 international companies from Germany, Italy, Spain, China, India and Qatar have expressed their desire to participate in the implementation of the metro project, after its announcement on February 8, and the signing of contracts with the company specialized in providing consulting services for the project.”/  End
