Iran ranks second in Int'l Army Games held in Bangladesh

TEHRAN, Mar. 02 (MNA) – The military team of the Islamic Republic of Iran ranked second in the recurve bow category of the 2024 International Army Games held in Bangladesh.

Sadegh Ashrafi, Mohammad-Hossein Golshani, and Reza Shabani represented Iran's military team in the sporting event.

Following South Korea, Iran has ranked second and gained a silver medal in the recurve bow category of the tournament.

Previously in the games, Iran emerged victorious against rivals from Sri Lanka (6-0) and Russia (6-2) to reach the final.

In the final round, Iran was defeated by South Korea 4-5 and gained the silver medal.
