Iran finishes first in Asian Rafting Champs

Tehran, IRNA – The Iranian women’s rafting team has secured first place in the Asian Rafting Championships, which were held for the first time in Asia.

The Iranian women selected from the central province of Isfahan clinched the championship title in all four categories of the competitions.

Two Indian teams stood second and third after Iran.

The 2024 Asian Rafting Championships took place in Himachal Pradesh, located in northern India, and were conducted under the supervision of the World Rafting Federation. The event spanned a week, attracting participation from various teams representing India, Iran, Tajikistan, Nepal, Iraq, and Kazakhstan.
