400,000 Europeans Have Visited Iraq Since The Beginning Of This Year

Baghdad / NINA / -The Minister of Culture, Ahmed Fakak Al-Badrani, announced statistics on the number of European visitors to Iraq, indicating that Iraq needs urgent measures to enhance tourism and attract tourists.

Al-Badrani said, in a statement, that: “The number of Europeans who have visited Iraq has exceeded 400,000 since the beginning of this year, and this statistic does not include tourists from neighboring countries such as Iran, Syria, Lebanon, or other countries.”

He pointed out that "the government's approach is to develop tourism by establishing vital facilities to support the sector and to open new doors for diplomatic dialogue with countries that prohibit their citizens from visiting Iraq."/End
