Tourism Minister receives winner of Arab Tourism Media Award

Manama, Mar. 17 (BNA): Fatima Bint Jaafar Al Sairafi, Minister of Tourism, received Fatima Taleb, a content creator, on winning the Arab Tourism Media Award in the YouTube category for 2024.

The minister affirmed the keenness of the ministry and Bahrain Tourism and Exhibitions Authority (BTEA) to encourage young talents and national competencies in promoting tourism in Bahrain by highlighting the kingdom via social media platforms.

She congratulated the content creator on winning the award and commended her efforts that demonstrated the youth's ability to keep up with the modern tourism industry.

Al Sairafi emphasised the ministry and BTEA's efforts in organising entertainment events and activities for young people, confirming the importance of engaging the youth in tourism initiatives and programmes.

She noted the ministry’s commitment to encouraging Bahraini youth to participate in promoting tourism in the kingdom to attract regional and international young tourists and strengthen Bahrain's position as a global tourist destination.
