Al-Hakim And The Saudi Crown Prince Stress The Importance Of Strengthening Commonalities Between The Countries Of The Region

Baghdad / NINA /- The head of the Notional Wisdom Movement, Ammar Al-Hakim, and the Saudi Crown Prince, Prince Mohammed bin Salman, stressed the importance of strengthening commonalities between the countries of the region.

Al-Hakim said in a blog post on the “X” platform, “During our visit to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, we met with Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman, and we exchanged views on developments in the political scene in Iraq and the region and ways to strengthen relations between the two countries and the two brotherly peoples, and we stressed the importance of maintaining the political and economic openness of Iraq with its Arab and Islamic surroundings.

He added: “We stressed with the Saudi Crown Prince the strengthening of commonalities between the countries of the region, and we explained that the stability of Iraq has had a positive impact on the security and safety of the region, and we called for investing in the promising opportunities offered by Iraq in the field of reconstruction and development, and for the Kingdom to have a role in the urban renaissance that Iraq is witnessing.”

He continued: Regarding the Gaza crisis, we called for taking advantage of the Security Council’s resolution to stop the war and begin providing relief to the displaced and reconstructing the Gaza Strip.

He said: We also stressed the importance of maintaining dialogue between the parties in the region, and Iraq’s desire to end the tasks of the international coalition to combat ISIS, and we said that Iraq seeks to move to an interactive relationship with some of its countries based on common interests and respect for the country’s sovereignty.

He added: We also called for the exchange of experiences in confronting challenges such as climate challenges and ideas strange to our Arab and Islamic societies, and for dialogue at the social and religious levels to find a common vision for confrontation, and we wish the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia more brilliance and prosperity. /End
