Ukraine edge Iran at 2024 Paralympic Final Qualification

TEHRAN, Apr. 09 (MNA) – Iran’s women’s sitting volleyball team was defeated by Ukraine in the 2024 Paralympic Final Qualification Tournament in Dali, China.

In the sixth match on Tuesday, the Ukrainian women’s sitting volleyball team edged past Iran 3-2 (25-20, 20-25, 18-25, 25-13, 15-13) in the sporting event.

In previous matches, Iran won against Japan, Thailand, and Germany but lost to China and Slovenia.

The tournament includes Iran, Germany, Japan, Mongolia, Slovenia, Thailand, and Ukraine.

The winner will qualify for the 2024 Summer Paralympics.

The tournament follows a single round-robin format.
