Factories of DPRK Mainly Finish Producing Equipment and Materials for Dry-Field Irrigation

Pyongyang, April 23 (KCNA) -- Various factories in the DPRK have finished in the main the production of equipment and materials needed for this year's dry-field irrigation projects.
Officials and workers at the Taedonggang Electric Appliances Factory boosted the output of transformers through dynamic socialist emulation.
They over-fulfilled their daily plans by mobilizing all internal reserves and ensuring the full operation of all equipment.
The Pyongyang Motor Factory has completed the plan for the production of equipment needed for this year's irrigation projects ahead of schedule.
The Songchongang Electric Appliances Factory finished producing motors in a few months.
Original innovations saving labor force and materials and reducing the making time have been applied to production and all the workers have redoubled their efforts. As a result, the factory made a lot of motors.
The Anju Pump Factory, Jangsan Electric Appliances Factory and other relevant units successfully finished the production of equipment and materials necessary for the dry-field irrigation projects.
Similar successes have been achieved by Phyongsong, Haeju, Sariwon and Wonsan irrigation machine factories. -0-
