Isonnam Falls, Natural Wonder of DPRK

 Pyongyang, April 23 (KCNA) -- The Isonnam Falls are one of natural wonders in the DPRK.
The falls, situated in Chonthae Ravine of world-renowned Mt Myohyang, had been called Hyongje Falls (Twins) for their two streams of falls.
Chairman Kim Jong Il visited Chonthaedong in May Juche 70 (1981) and newly confirmed the mountaineering course.
He said that the falls could be called the Isonnam Falls.
The height of the falls is 22 meters and the widths are 6-10 meters and 4-8 meters.
As the falls are very wonderful and beautiful in their shapes, adding beauty to the surrounding landscape, and are known to be a good leisure site for the people. -0-
