Moving into New Houses in DPRK

Pyongyang, April 25 (KCNA) -- Under the wise leadership of the Workers' Party of Korea (WPK) which set the housing construction, favoured most by the people, as the primary major policy task, new houses which boast of socialist rural civilization have appeared at the Yakjon Farm in Sukchon County, South Phyongan Province.
The construction of low- and single-storied houses of various forms equipped with all conditions and environment for living suited to the characteristics pertaining to the relevant area is a precious result of the warm love of the WPK to turn the rural villages across the country into ideal socialist villages and provide the agricultural workers with a more civilized living environment.
A ceremony for moving into new houses took place on the spot on April 24.
Present there were Kim Man Jo, secretary of the South Phyongan Provincial Committee of the WPK, officials, builders and agricultural workers in Sukchon County.
Pak Chol Ho, vice-chairman of the South Phyongan Provincial People's Committee, made a congratulatory speech.
Licenses for the use of houses were awarded and speeches were made.
At the end of the meeting, officials congratulated the new owners, sharing joy with them. -0-
