Joint Seminar Held in Russia

Pyongyang, April 30 (KCNA) -- A joint seminar of Russian political parties and organizations was held on April 24 to mark the fifth anniversary of the respected Comrade Kim Jong Un's visit to the Russian Federation.
Present there were personages of political parties, organizations and institutions including the Communist Party of Russian Federation, the Communist Parties-the Communist Party of the Soviet Union, the Liberal Democratic Party, the Korean War Veterans' Council and the Society for the Study of the Juche Idea and members of the International Solidarity Group with the DPRK.
The seminar expressed deep reverence for President Kim Il Sung, Chairman Kim Jong Il and the respected General Secretary Kim Jong Un who gave birth to the DPRK-Russia friendly relations and consolidated and developed them into a new stage.
It also wished the Korean people bigger success in socialist construction and supported the development of the strategic cooperation between the two countries.
The secretary of the C.C., Communist Party of the Russian Federation who is head of the Russia-DPRK Friendship Parliamentary Group of the State Duma said that Comrade Kim Jong Un's first visit to Russia five years ago was an important event in the history of relations between the two countries, adding that the Communist Party of the Russian Federation is steadfast in its will to invariably develop the friendly relations with the Workers' Party of Korea and contribute to further strengthening the relations of cooperation between the two countries. 
The vice-chairperson of the Central Council of the Communist Parties-the Communist Party of the Soviet Union praised the exploits performed by Kim Il Sung, Kim Jong Il and Kim Jong Un for the development of the DPRK-Russia friendly relations.
The chief of the International Solidarity Group with the DPRK said that President of the State Affairs Kim Jong Un's visit to Russia gave vitality to the development of the bilateral relations with long historical roots.
A statement was adopted at the seminar.
The statement referred to the great contributions made by Kim Il Sung and Kim Jong Il to the accomplishment of the global cause of peace and to the great significance of the historic visit to Russia by Kim Jong Un.
Comrade Kim Jong Un is devoting his all to the country and the people and the socialist cause, true to the behests of the preceding leaders, the statement said, adding they are pleased that the DPRK is firmly maintaining the independent stand in the international arena under his outstanding leadership. -0-
