Innovation Made in Education Sector of DPRK

Pyongyang, May 8 (KCNA) -- The educational sector of the DPRK strives to disseminate excellent teaching resources to rural schools.
The Ministry of Education has methodically conducted the work to make videos and programs on model lessons, applied with excellent teaching method, and disseminate them to rural schools.
It formed a video-making group with excellent teachers selected from different regions and has intensified the political work to stir up their enthusiasm.
It has also paid primary attention to the selection of teaching methods helpful to improving the teachers' ability from among new teaching methods created in different regions and units.
On this basis, it has intensified its policy and educational guidance to perfect teaching methods in conformity with the age and psychological characteristics of schoolchildren and the characteristics of subjects.
This year, many programs and videos on model and real lessons have been disseminated to schools in rural areas and thousands of educational programs produced on a full scale. -0-
