HM King congratulated by HRH Crown Prince and Prime Minister on Bahrain Summit's success

Manama, May 16 (BNA): His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa received a cable of congratulations from His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, on the success of the 33rd session of the Arab League Council meeting at the summit level, which was held in the Kingdom of Bahrain.  

In the cable, HRH the Crown Prince and Prime Minister said that Bahrain's hosting of the 33rd Arab Summit at this critical and important stage, demonstrates the kingdom's commitment, under the leadership of His Majesty the King, to continue supporting joint Arab action and boosting its progress towards consolidating Arab integration and solidarity.

HRH said the presidency of His Majesty the King of the Bahrain Summit had a major role in its success and the results it achieved, which will contribute to advancing development in the Arab world towards greater prosperity and growth.

HRH the Crown Prince and Prime Minister affirmed that His Majesty the King's speech provided an accurate assessment of the challenges facing the region and a vision for the future of joint Arab action.

This was reflected in HM the King's emphasis on the need to adopt peace as a strategic and indispensable choice, HRH said.

HRH highlighted the significance of the initiatives announced by Bahrain in contributing to addressing the core issues of stability and development in the region. HRH affirmed that those initiatives will be followed up by the government of His Majesty, in coordination with Arab states and the Arab League.
