Progress Made in Rice-transplanting

Pyongyang, May 19 (KCNA) -- Rice-transplanting is progressing apace in rural areas of the DPRK.
A large number of farms in Pyongyang and Nampho municipalities and other regions of the country finished rice-transplanting in the main in a short span of time.
Officials in Haeju City and Jaeryong and Sinchon counties of South Hwanghae Province properly set the order of rice-transplanting according to farm field and variety and raised the responsibility of farmers to ensure the quality of rice-transplanting.
Officials and agricultural workers in North Phyongan Province have transplanted rice seedlings in thousands of hectares of field every day.
South Phyongan Province is making high results in rice-transplanting by ensuring the full operation of farm machines.
