CIS EXECUTIVE COMMITTEE TO DISCUSS QUESTIONS OF COOPERATION IN FIGHT AGAINST CORRUPTION

Minsk, 24 August (AzerTAc). CIS Executive Committee through 25-26 will hold in Minsk session of expert group on coordination of the Draft on cooperation of the Commonwealth member states in counteraction against corruption and the Draft on amending the Regulations on Coordination Council of general public prosecutors of the CIS states.
As earlier reported, the Agreement on cooperation of the Commonwealth states urges to promote development and interaction perfection, increase of efficiency of cooperation in combat against corruption offences.
It is suggested that the major directions of cooperation in this field will be rendering legal assistance on criminal, administrative and civil cases, conducting coordinated operational-search, operational-preventive actions, interaction in sphere of search, detention and delivery of the persons who have committed corruption crimes, search and returning of the incomes of corruption, working out and realization of strategy in sphere of counteraction against corruption.
Experts also will discuss amendments in the Regulations on Coordination Council of general public prosecutors of the CIS member states.
