Soqotra port project discussed

SANA'A, Nov. 08 (Saba)- Deputy Minister of Transport
and Maritime Affairs Ali Sahbi discussed on Sunday with chairman of the Kuwait Fund
for
Arab Economic Development (KFAED) over the implementation of the project of Soqotra
Port which will cost $40 million and will be financed by the fund.
In the meeting, Sahbi pointed out that the ministry has completed all the tender
documents of the project, affirming the importance of the project which will link
Yemen
with other countries.
For his part, head of Kuwaiti delegation said that this visit comes to get acquired
with the final developments of the project as well as sign the draft loan agreement
with
Yemeni concerned bodies.
