Health preparations for 20th Gulf Cup discussed

SANA'A, Dec.26 (Saba) - A meeting held here on Saturday, chaired by Ministry of Public Health and Population Abul-Karim Rase'a,
discussed the health sector's preparations to be completed within the government's efforts for hosting the 20th Gulf Cup.

The participants in the meeting reviewed the time and financial plan prepared by
the ministry and its offices in Aden, Lahj and Abyan provinces to finance and
implement
the projects included in the health sector rehabilitation plan, topped by building
and equipping an ambulance and emergency station in Aden province to serve the three
provinces.
They affirmed the need to accelerate taking the necessary procedures to provide the
financial allocations to rehabilitate the health sector.
On Friday, Prime Minister Ali Mujawar re-confirmed Yemen's capacity to host the
20th Gulf Football Championship by end of next year in Aden city and Abyan
province.
He said that the government has allocated huge potentials to bring this event into
success by building new stadiums, hotels and other facilities to host guests coming
to
attend and participate in this sport event.
