Mongolian people are celebrating the 70th anniversary of the Victory in the Great Patriotic war. Mongolian Military Song and Dance ensemble of the Mongolian armed forces had prepared and performed a concert dedicated to this historical event. The concert is about the participation of the Mongolian people in the war.

Most of spectators were war veterans as well as Russian citizens who lost their fathers and grandfathers in the war.

1. I would like to say Thank you so much to the people of Mongolia on behalf of our team which has come from Russia
2. I was fascinated by the concert performance you have presented. Even my tears were draining. The concert was very well prepared and performed by Mongolian artiststs. Thank you all so much
3. I am gratefull for all the people. A big hello to Mongolia. My best regards to my compatriots who lived and worked here in Mongolia.

Over 5000 Russian citizens who lived in Mongolia were drafted into the army when World war II has begun. More than half of them never returned from war. A plaque dedicated to their memory was made on occasion of the 70th anniversary of the Victory. Many people who have come from Russia and Czech Republic visited today the Russian center of science and culture in Ulaanbaatar to see the names of the grandfathers, fathers and relatives in the memorial plaque.

4. He is my father. He was born in 1920 and in 1942 he was called to the front. In 1943 he died.

Victor Mikhailovich was born in Selenge province of Mongolia. This time, he has come to Mongolia from the village Khagasia near the town Sayanogors in Russia to pay tribute to the memory of his father. He has found the name of his father-in-law in the plaque. His eyes became glassy with tears when he remembered his dad.
