Baku, October 3 (AzerTAc). The Azerbaijan State Telegraph Agency`s (AzerTAc) camera crew this time travels to Shamkir, a city of ancient monuments, classic German architecture, modern buildings and parks.
Shamkir is one of the cities that emerged in the early Middle Ages. The ruins of ancient Shamkir are located on the left bank of the Shamkir River. One of the important periods in the history of Shamkir was settlement of Germans here in the beginning of the 19th century.
The video report highlights the history, culture, art, economy and nature of the city. The crew traveled to industrial enterprises, newly-built apartment houses, parks, squares, sport and cultural facilities in the city.
