11th Pyongyang Musical Instruments Exhibition Closes
Pyongyang, September 23 (KCNA) -- The 11th Pyongyang Musical Instruments Exhibition closed with due ceremony at the Pyongyang International House of Culture on Friday.
At the exhibition, many instruments including flute, violin and accordion, presented by the Pyongyang Musical Instrument Factory, the Pyongyang National Instrument Factory, the Kaechon Disabled Soldiers' Instrument Factory, etc., were highly appreciated.
Teachers and students of Pyongyang Kim Won Gyun University of Music and Dance and children of Kyongsang Kindergarten gave a concert with those instruments to significantly adorn the exhibition.
Present at the closing ceremony were officials concerned, and officials, researchers and manufacturers of musical instruments production units.
Diplomas were awarded to the units and persons appreciated at the exhibition.
Pak Kyong Chol, vice-minister of Culture, made a closing address. -0-
