Arab League to Hold Emergency Meeting Tomorrow to Discuss Israeli Aggression on Jenin

Cairo, July 03, 2023 AD, SPA -- The Council of the League of Arab States, at the level of permanent representatives, will convene an emergency meeting tomorrow, Tuesday, under the chairmanship of Egypt. The objective of the meeting is to address the current and intensifying Israeli aggression against the Palestinian people across Palestinian cities, camps, and villages. This includes the brutal and continuous Israeli aggression against the Jenin camp and other areas in the West Bank, which has claimed the lives of many martyrs and wounded.
The Permanent Representative of the State of Palestine to the Arab League, Ambassador Muhannad Al-Aklouk, said in a statement today: "The meeting will be held at the request of the State of Palestine, and in coordination with the Arab Republic of Egypt and the Kingdom of Jordan, to discuss ways of effective action at the Arab and international levels to stop this Israeli aggression, hold its perpetrators accountable, and request the provision of international protection for the Palestinian people."
