Art Performances Given to Encourage Farmers in DPRK
Pyongyang, September 24 (KCNA) -- Artistes in Pyongyang find themselves in farm fields in the western region of the country to encourage the farmers striving to successfully finish this year's farming.
The art squad, composed of artistes of the central art troupes including the Phibada Opera Troupe, the National Folk Art Troupe, the National Theatrical Troupe and the National Acrobatic Troupe, is giving a performance every day at farms in Nampho Municipality to encourage farmers.
Put on the stage are woman solo "When We Walk along the Road between Fields" and other numbers. The performances, given at the Aewon Farm under the Nampho Municipal Rural Economy Committee and the Ryongwol Farm in Onchon County, inspire the farmers to devotedly implement the agricultural policy of the Workers' Party of Korea.
Touching and appealing numbers of high ideological value were put on the stage of the performances, given at the Taeo and Tokwon farms in Unjon County and other farms in North Phyongan Province, to mesmerize officials, working people and volunteer helpers.
Art squad members of working people's organizations conduct on-the-spot motivational art performances in the rural areas of South Phyongan, North and South Hwanghae provinces.
Ministries, national institutions and industrial establishments in Pyongyang Municipality sent loudspeaker cars to encourage the farmers in the breadbasket of the country. -0-
