Backed by KSrelief, Prosthetic Limbs Center in Ma’rib Provided Medical Services to 313 Beneficiaries in March

Ma’rib, May 4, 2023, SPA -- The Prosthetic Limbs Center in Ma’rib Governorate provided various medical services in March to 313 Yemenis who lost their limbs, with the support of the King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center (KSrelief).
The project provided 1,037 services, of which 73% went to males and 27 % to females. Of the beneficiaries, 82% were displaced, and 18% were residents.
As many as 73 patients benefitted from manufacturing, installing, and rehabilitating prosthetic limbs. The project also provided physiotherapy services, which varied between physiotherapy sessions and specialized consultations, benefiting 240 patients.
The assistance comes as an extension of the humanitarian projects provided by the Kingdom, represented by KSrelief, to raise the capabilities of the health sector and try to alleviate the suffering of the friendly Yemeni people.
