Al Qattara Arts Centre features fashion world

AL AIN, 4th March, 2018 (WAM) -- Al Qattara Arts Centre is set to feature the creative and glamorous world of fashion illustration in its exhibition, 'Lines and Stitches'. Organised by the Department of Culture and Tourism – Abu Dhabi, the exhibition is set to take place from 15th March 2018, where it will shed light on this rapidly growing creative genre through the artworks of UAE-based fashion illustrators and designers. The exhibition will be open to the public until 14th June 2018. Showcasing the wealth of national creative talent, Lines and Stitches also highlights the enduring nature of this art form, and its ability to capture the essence of an era, community, and society. The exhibition is the result of an open call to artists, designers and illustrators alike and features more than 21 illustrations and 8 installations. Lines and Stitches will also feature workshops by fashion illustrators and designers from the UAE every Saturday of every weekend during the exhibition.
