Around 106 Business Players Participate In Borobudur Travel Mart

Semarang, Central Java, June 11 (Antara) - Around 106 business players have signed up for the Borobudur Travel Mart at Grand Artos Aerowisata in Magelang, Central Java, from June 14 to 16, 2013. Central Java Tourism Promotion Board spokesman Sugeng Sugiantoro said here on Tuesday that the majority of 106 business players to participate in the Borobudur Travel Mart came from Central Java and the rest from Jakarta, Palangkaraya, Bogor, and Malang. "Besides, there will be around 85 domestic and overseas buyers," Sugeng said, adding that the domestic buyers come from Bali, Bandung, Banyuwangi, Jakarta, Medan, Palembang, Surabaya, Pekanbaru, Tasikmalaya, and Cirebon while the foreign buyers come from Malaysia, Singapore, Cambodia, Saudi Arabia, and the Philippines. Sugeng explained that the Borobudur Travel Mart last year was held in Magelang in October but this year it would be held in June as part of Borobudur International Festival 2013. He said the Borobudur Travel Mart this year would be conducted to facilitate the meeting of tourism business players with buyers at home and abroad to establish and develop business partners with vendors and stakeholders in tourism. "This year the Borobudur Travel Mart is conducted in conjunction with the implementation of Borobudur International Festival 2013 to support the Central Java Visit Year 2013," he said.
