August's Inflation Eases To 0,47 Pct

Jakarta, Sept 1 (Antara) - Indonesia`s inflation rate in August 2014 eased to 0.47 percent from 1.12 percent in the same month last year, according to the Central Statistics Agency (BPS). "This demonstrates that the inflation rate could be kept in check," BPS Head Suryamin stated here on Monday. August`s inflation brought the calendar inflation to 3.42 percent and year-on-year inflation to 3.99 percent.
