Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia /MONTSAME/ A money supply (broad money or M2) reached MNT 7,051.2 billion at the end of June 2012, increasing MNT 321.6 billion or 4.8 per cent against the previous month, and by MNT 1,278.6 billion or 22.2 per cent against the previous year. At the end of June 2012, a currency, issued in circulation, reached MNT 891.5 billion, increasing MNT 108.6 billion or 13.9 per cent against the previous month, and by MNT 252.7 billion or 39.6 per cent against the same period of 2011. Loans outstanding at the end of June 2012 amounted to MNT 6,318.2 billion, increasing MNT 197.0 billion or 3.2 per cent against the previous month, and by MNT 1,765.4 billion or 38.8 percent against the previous year. Principals in arrears reached MNT 51.8 billion, decreasing by MNT 8.3 billion or 13.8 per cent against the previous month, and decreasing by MNT 18.1 billion or 25.9 per cent against 2011. The non-performing loans over the bank system reached MNT 307.8 billion, showing decreases of MNT 7.9 billion or 2.5 per cent against the previous month, of MNT 82.7 billion or 21.2 per cent against the previous year.
