Boat fares raised Bt0.50-1

BANGKOK, Aug 17 (TNA) – Boat operators today started raising fares by Bt0.50-1 following raising diesel prices. The retailed diesel price is now Bt25.19 per litre, higher than Bt25.01 for ten consecutive days, so the Marine Department approved boat operators to raise the fares in line with a public boat transport committee’s resolution last year. The fares of the Chao Phraya express boat and Klong Saen Saeb boat service are increased one baht while fares of shuttle boats, crossing the Chao Phraya River are raised by Bt0.50. (TNA)
